Richard Harris, author of 43 books on travel, history, architecture, archaeology, and regional food, has been a veteran of the Santa Fe publishing scene since 1982. He has written, co-written, and edited books for John Muir Publications, RDR Books, Fodor's Guides (Random House), Birnbaum Guides and Access Guides (Harper-Collins), John Wiley & Sons, Globe Pequot Press, Ulysses Press, and others. He has served as president of PEN New Mexico and the New Mexico Book Association. He is presently implementing a 50-title e-book program for RDR Books.
